Ntini and Pollock would have done equal damage. Too much (toss) advantage for the side bowling first..

at the toss, smith said that he'd have preferred to bat first. said it was a good batting pitch and there was little advantage at the toss.

South Africa is in virtually the same position where India was vis-a-vis BD at this point in time. They are 108/3 in 34.1 overs. It will be interesting to see where they go from here.

Saw a neat little fielding trick in NZ fielding....

Whenever the player fielding at boundary had to dive and stop, he would dive and push the ball to following fielder, instead of getting up and throwing the ball. It saved precious seconds in the ball getting to keeper.

Wonder if Robin Singh knows about this new innovation in fielding. Or is he watching it and taking notes. I hope he is.

Next, if Robin knows it and wants to teach it to the "boyz", are they fit, agile and metally alert enough to execute it? I hope Boyz are serious in learning the new innovation that are coming up in cricket. History tells us they have not been.
