i don't know dex if a good computer background is really a qualification. see i have this fabulous computer background of aishwarya rai. but everytime a client walks in i have to remove it because my partner claims its not corporate enough. i don't agree becasue she endorses so many brands that she must be steeped in all kinds of gyan on brand strategy. but coming back to you my sincere advice would be to not refer to your computer background unless you think the HR manager has the same taste in graphics as you.

i think..the best way to let people know about your computer background is to let it in casually.....like the TATAs did..." We also make steel"!
Dex...I am sure, you will find something worthwhile...in US!
