With KP rested, I wouldn't put the odds on England that low either. They are playing with nothing to lose at all and feel the least pressure among everyone. A rampant Flintoff, KP his usual self, and a consistent Ian Bell could mean very tall scores. And their bowling can easily match India's with Panesar coming into his own.

Lets get this straight. Australia are going to be in the semis and England are not.

So its down to 6 teams for 3 spots.

I think Pakistan and South Africa have an edge over the others while New Zealand are a bit of a longshot, SL I dont think can carry on their great run on Windies soil (this is just a gut feel)

So it is down to West Indies and India to fight it out for the last spot.

With this series we might have just gained the "pshycological advantage" ...

This was the reasoning even in Champions trophy but they looked to be a very good team despite major abscences in the team. They may not be a great test team but have a bunch of major ODI impact players + Aussie like skills in running between the wkts and fielding. Oram has just boosted their chances.

Also I like to make bold predictions!!

I think India, Pakistan and SAfrica will join Aus in the semis. If Akhtar isn't his stupid self, I see Pakistan lifting the trophy. And no, I don't see the Aussies winning this one, although they are still my second favourite team.
