Only 3 of the 33 runs in this partnership have been scored by YS!

that is the stratgy - one anchor and one hitter;
right now Dhoni is the hitter; Yuvraj saved for later if needed.

Victories in matches where YS has scored a fifty is > 95 %

Of the 26 times that Ys has gone past 50 (excluding this match) India has lost only 6 times ..one of which was on D/L against Aus

Can we MoM to YS and Dhoni please? He stuck it out till the end. SRT took Inzy's wkt too.
For me, the turning point was Akmal dropping SRT.
The funniest moment was Inzy trying to get Umar Gul and YS to patch up. That was comical but shows that Inzy is a gentleman

If MoM is the player who plays the most pivotal innings/bowls the most decisive spell, Rana is my man

I actually feel a lil sorry for the Pak team, first time in a bit that I see shoulders dropping. And Rana may not get a game in some time. Even Inzy will lose his temper with such a guy

if we win 5 matches in a trot , each one on the last ball, and hitting afridi in eac h one of those for a six to win the match, maybe that would make up for sharjah and the rest of the matches we lost to them throughout the 80s

dex, me being sorry doesnt mean that I dont want our team to win the series. But Inzy's very fatherly behaviour actually got me to appreciate him (dont agree with sportsmanship crap). So, sorry these Pak guys.
However, Pak spectators leaving and our fellas staying put and cheering Dhoni was sweet revenge.

Afridi got  a pit of pitaayi today. I was hoping Inzy doesnt replace Rana with Afridi today. Nothing to spoil my mood but to see him do well against us.

If captains have not lost their temper with  a bowler like AA, any bowler will survive the wrath of their captains   ;D

what's amazing is the way he plays as per conditions. note that the biggest hitter in cricket today has not hit a single six in his 72. on a head to head who do you think is better? symonds (especially after the brilliant 151 yesterday) or dhoni (after the incredible 72no today)? open to comment.

Pak is a better attack than that bunch of dibbly dobblie bowlers of SL...therein lies the answer. Only comparing yesterday's match and today's.

On a one-on-one, Symonds is definitely ahead

they were not dibbly-dobbly as much as we think actually. vaas did them at 10/3. but the amazing thing was 99 of ten overs for murali. who has been their biggest threat.
