That's the trend. Didn't you see that in SRT and now in Zaheer too? But it's not as straight as it appears on this sketch. It's kinda permed and thus have a curly look.

I did not notice in Zaheer, but SRT's style has been same for like past 6-7 years. He has hairs falling on his forehead, but they are curly, so they look different. SG's hairs on forehead are straight, like Sadhna use to have, or like Laloo has...

Nope, they are not. You need to look closely. Also, I think SRT has changed his hairstyle a bit recently after sporting that look you described for a number of years. Personally, I don't like this style. I don't know why they opted for this. May be I am not hip enough.
