One from good old times

Sunil Gavaskar at University of Oklahoma:( these are not my pics or comments- a student from Univ of Oklahoma took these in 1985 an dmade teh comments)

"The interesting thing was that due to lack of publicity the crowd was not there and Sunil Gavaskar (centre) did not play in the match. People would stand on either side of him, take pictures and move on as if he was a statue, without talking to him.

And Kapil Paaji too:

After the innings I shook hands with him and complimented him for his batting and asked him why he didn't hit the sixer. His reply was 'Koshish tho bahut kee thi (I really tried hard to do so)'

SUraj, very misleading. I thought those were your comments.

Sunny looks like a real Mumbai ka tapori..the only things missing are a bunch of keys in his hands and a steel chain going from his trouser pocket to this waist belt.
