Improve your batting- decent tool shown on the cricket show
« on: December 14, 2006, 04:16:28 PM »
I was watching the cricket show yesterday and came across this instant tool. I know that some here don't consider Healy to be a great guy when it comes to talking about cricket. But he demonstrated a tool which basically consists of a couple of heavy duty strings/ropes which can be adjusted for tension (and of course a cricket ball). I have seen similar tools for football (soccer as in the US) which I didnt find as useful.
But this looks decent enough. You can crank up speeds upto 120kph which isnt so bad when you consider that the highest speed available on this DG is CP's snail paced 99kph.

Anyhow, the website is http://www.zipnhitcricket.com/zipnhit/
(available only in Aus but I am sure, if the product takes off, shipping across to anypart of the world).

When intelligence matures and lodges securely in the mind it becomes wisdom. When wisdom is integrated with life and becomes action it becomes Bhakti. Knowledge when it becomes fully mature is Bhakti. To believe that Jnana and Bhakti, knowledge & devotion, are different from each other is ignorance.

Yeah but there are some basic things you could improve, such as your back lift. This, in addition to your reflexes. It is by no means the cmplete answer to anyone's batting problems.

When did I talk about my speed? I would be lucky to get the ball over at 99kph. Thats express for me. I was once taunted by the UMPIRE in a tennis ball game who refused to call a beamer I bowled as NO ball since it lacked speed!!!

Never been more offended. :)
