Predictions for VRV?

I was impressed by him in the Challengers. He gets a lot of bounce and is reasonably quick. The SA wkts should suit him a lot.

OTOH, if he tries too many things (and our bowlers have often been guilty of that on fast pitches) he will be killed. He seems to be aware of this

I thin he should be ok in tests.

What do you think?

He will not be picked in the first test. Might play a test or two and will royally suck

he will play a test. will get mauled by the top order. will then bowl well against the tail and knock them out.
he is not ready for the big league. that said, there is a lot to like about him. tall, strong, nice smooth bowling action. hits the bat hard, gets bounce. a lot of investment needs to be  put into him to make him a world class bowler. that does not necessarily mean playing him in important tests!

SA has a tail? I am sure he has potential but didnt someone on the DG say that after his injury, he wasnt really bowling fast anymore?

he is not ready for the BIG league BOYZ. that said there is a lot to like about him. tall big, STRONG, nice SMOOTH bowling ACTION. Oh, did I forget HANDSOME? hits the bat body HARD, gets bounce while hitting the body hard. a lot of investment needs to be put into him to make him world class bowler hooker. that does not necessarily mean playing with him in important tests!
