dont think the organisers would lose much .. the television rights have already been sold ... the sponsors, unless they have already booked slots, will pull back a bit. It will be the television companies who face the biggest problem. If they are smart, they would have tried to palm off most of the slots immediately after India beat England

Am I correct in thinking that India can only finish FIRST in their group.

Which means if we win against Aus we play NZ at Mohali again on Nov 1.

Nope. If WI beat Eng, they finish with 6 pts and 1st place.

Even then, the pitch will definitely be hard and bouncy. Lee and Mitch will be quite a handful. Basically, we will change the Gabba to a Perth ;)

I think if it is just bounce, the current indian line up will welcome it .. relative to the ones they have been playing on so far.

I still think that most of the batsmen in the team today prefer more bounce to slow tracks
