Mock Turtle and her diet
« on: September 21, 2006, 05:16:55 AM »
yesterday, for those of you who werent lucky enough to be present for the live chat, mock turtle had prophecized that india would win. i left the chat, assured by MT that the windies would be 60/6. she lied, they were 70/5. so as i sat there with my jaw dropping every tinme a wicket fell, i was wondering about mocks diet. it apparently consists of hope. ghee and sugar arent allowed neither are splenda and olive oil. the reason behind this thread is for me to acknowledge that MT's diet works, even when our much touted batting line up doesnt.
feel free to give mock as many applauds as you can.  ;D

k-slice: What no disclaimers? [Given that you are still enjoying home-cooking and laundry due to this win].

Agree, Mock was the only one optimistic about this one. Amazing. At 34-0, this thing was beyond hope for me too[I and another friend were the only 2 people remaining- out of a house full of 25 odd people - who watched the Kaif/Yuvraj show at the Natwest Final]

mocks menu tody:
1. chilled hope soup with a garnish of decarbed onion slices
2. Fresh cootage cheese salad on a bed of green assuredness
3. one congealed mass of congeniality
3. one roast slice of k also known as kslice
5. famous coverpoint baked alaska.

all items may consist or may have been made around nuts(allergies and death may occur, if not from the nuts then from the overall cooking standards). intake of calories over the stipulated mark is not the responsibilty of the maker. splenda aka chemical substitutes might or might not have been used, for further details and reactions please intake food, rest on sofa with beer in hand. if complications occure: too bad. if they dont: damn it we need to change our recipes. all diets are fda approved. for further details feel free to contact 1-800-5555555

AAH... ME TOO !!! Last time that happened was in the 1st VB final early this year, when SL managed to beat Aus. Alas, then they had to face some ruthless Aussie cricket in the next 2 VB finals  >:( >:(

Another reason why I loved 2005 Ashes - I got to watch Smirkless Punter.

well, how else can i sit through the match with a glimmer of HOPE of a win?

aussies are almost invincible, i know that. shane watson has really worked on his facial expressions since the Ashes and is annoying me to no end!

;D ;D ;D

i didn't JINX it after-all!

no you tried but it was counter-jinxed

yeah, watch me do it today :P i got my voodoo doll ready too!   ;D  ;D  ;D

I am now picturing you as the medicine woman/witch from Pirates of the caribean II ;D

haven't seen those movies but i intend to use my voodoo doll against fans who rip the team apart when they do poorly and THEN attack poor souls like me for no rhyme or reason.  ;D  ;D

jinx, superstitions are all HUMBUG! how will an idjet like me sitting in some remote part of the world saying "we will win" affect the match? hilarious.

*evil mood*

You are such a drama queen  ::) ::)

sulk sulk pout pout as usual

suraj, indian will WIN today..*grin* *sulk* *pout*  are you going to throw ANOTHER hissy fit? :-)

first part makes me happy, second part those are your skills Ms tantrum

Anyway kudos for the bold prediction in last game- hope I get to say that again after this game although Aussies have pretty much owned us in the ODIs for yrs now

cmon, who was the one who called me a "non-patriotic GC hater" who wants india to lose and was jinxing it by saying we will win, popping several of your veins in the process ? me or you? huh? huh? let's just blame it on the gene!

anyway, no kudos/applauds - just no point in watching a match if i don't have a hope of an outside chance of winning. i might as well go count the sparrows in the city or sift sand in the hope of finding gold.

now that i know what irks the passionate fans on the DG......*wicked ideas*
