Factual Flaws in Indian movies
« on: September 19, 2006, 02:21:21 PM »
CLR's thread on Lagaan and over boundary made me think it'll be interesting if folks can post factual flaws they see in movies. It'll be better to post these from personal observation after watching the movie vs getting them off websites, magazines etc.

Factual flaws and bollywood-- NO!  Next, you'll be asking for "inspiration" of Anu Malik's music and movies Mahesh Bhatt is involved with...

Factual Flaws?? There is only such thing in Indian Movies. Take a look below:

What if Bollywood would remake the movie Titanic?

Key highlights of Bollywood Titanic:

There would be ten times as many people on the ship.

The ship however would be a medium sized katamaran, since India does not have big ships.

It would be a seven-and-a-half hour movie with three intervals and 35 songs

There would be a song with Aishwarya Rai in a white dress, singing in the rain on the deck while pretending to fly.

By the end of the movie the hero would find his long lost Mom, Dad, Sister and Brother also floating in the water and alive.

The hero (AB), heroine (AR), his Mom, Dad, sister and brother will float in the freezing cold water (In India??) for days and....survive

The movie would be called, "Pyaar Kiya To Marna kya"

The villain will drown instantly since he can not swim.

Instead of the Iceberg there would be a huge shark which takes a large bite off the boat.

None of the other people would float for long because of the saris and kurta/pyjamas

The orchestra would play Raghupati Raghava Raja Ram and ring gantees, and a ray of light would come and transport the musicians to another ship.

And during the entire second half we would hear BACHAOOOO BACHAOOOO thousand times in the background while the hero and the heroine happily sing many songs while still floating. In their dream sequence you can also see them singing and dancing in Switzerland and in New Zealand
