Wow !! thanks guys...That will keep me going for a few weekends...I hope to find the DVD / VCDs of these movies. Going to the movie theatre is now a luxury that we plan for an occassion or there is a movie that is worth watching only on the big screen. Kids and their studies take priority for a working couple and with the kind of pathetic roads and trafiic in blore, it is better to stay put at home  :'(

will leave this thread open for a day or two and then the mods can take over

Vettaiyaadu Vilaiyaadu (Hunt and Play  :D) is worth watching on the big screen....

movie was awesome, but it shouldn't be compared to munnabhai mbbs, u will definitely miss the principal boman irani (his role in this movie is not meant to be comical) and jaddu ki jhappi
but vidya balan is so good in the movie and the story is with a message, and you might even end up crying in some scenes
wont say a lot except that the movie was awesome

and i saw bhupathi in the theater, surprisingly no one except me recognized me, he came with his wife and man the guy is so well built

Jiet:
Saw Little Miss Sunshine on your recommendation. Thanks a lot.

Excellent movie. It can be considered as a clever addition to the "road movies" genre!

I think definitely a contender for a few, come Oscar time.

Glad you liked it. While I would be happy to see this movie get nominated, I am not so confident that this kind of indie movie will have the financial backing.

Yeah-- the awards go to Yash Raj and Dharma productions only.  Well, the Roshans have put their foot in the door, but other than them, the big banners seem to dominate all award functions.  Watch KANK, Fanaa, and Dhoom 2 take away glories.  I desperately hope I'm wrong, but somehow, I doubt it.
