2. SG/SRT did that against 10 countries, including 8 Test playing countries. Ricky Ponting did that against 9 Test playing countries (9 overall). So give it to whoever you like!...........Inoc is correct here.

Both Gibbs and Ponting have centuries against 10 countries (including 1 each against non test playing countries). http://usa.cricinfo.com/db/STATS/ODIS/BATTING/ODI_MOST_100S.html

5. Stuart Clark is the New South Wales fast bowler who was called up from county cricket with Middlesex as cover for Glenn McGrath for the Old Trafford and Oval Tests of the current Ashes series, although he didn't actually play in either match. According to Cricinfo's player profile his parents are Indian, and they met in England..........courtesy Cricinfo.

Hmmmm. I think this is inaccurate. According to the profile, his parents are English-born and they met in India. You got it the other way around. I assume they are British.

I actually thought the answer was someone on the Australian women's cricket team. The British women's team has a star called Isa Guha.

Plz refer to this Cricinfo link..........http://content-usa.cricinfo.com/asksteven/content/story/218872.html

btw....Miss Isha Guha is of Indian parentage but plays for England ( Women's team)

king of prussia/jaat

i answered these without looking at cricinfo but i have now.
both ponting and gibbs have centuries against all 9 test playing countries
ponting has another against the asian eleven but gibbs has one against kenya. gibbs never entered into my head although i knew about ponting not having a hundred against the other two (kenya and namibia)

therefore the answer to the question IMO should be SRT/SG/Gibbs

The CricInfo q&a link you provide mentions what you say, but the player profile which it refers to says the opposite. Go figure! I tend to believe the player profile. Which Indian would name his son Stuart Rupert Clark ,... unless they are anglo-Indians.

Kop,
To answer above qn - some do. Even if they are "normal" indians, some parents give english, or french or german names to their kids. I have seen that...most likely the parents may have some liking for such names.

not sure abt this specific quiz qn, but this is general observation.
