i am k-slice and i have been addicted to the dg for a while now.
many an afternoon i break out into a sweat if i dont get my dg for the day. at times i have even resorted to selling my belongings to pay for internet usage. after i have joined this program i have seen some improvment but not much. as the 10 point program mentions, i have also accepted the lord as my saviour. may he deliver me from evil and help me avoid all temptations.

hye, I am DD. I have been known to leave the DG for days at a time  . i feel great. time spent here is time well wasted. parting with the DG for MINUTES at a time hurts but you begin to get used to it. i am a veteran of the 'retired then returned' group on this DG (many illustrious members). if you need any help with your DG-withdrawal symptoms please report to TL center for the DG addicted (shameless publicity campaign  )

Hi I am Cover Point. I confess to having ordered a second monitor for my office justso I can keep this window open and not lose anything when trivial things like work or conference calls come in the way.

I confess, since most of the activity in the fun threads is during my night here, to have hurriedly put the kids (and wife in some instances) to sleep and then stay up until 1:00 AM posting Mausi and Mockani threads!

I also confess to having bought 10 boxes of Swad rasgullahs just tospite the Gangulians! The increase in my body fat is purely coincidental. I really need help :=)

Hi, My name is Ranjit and I am a DG-holic. I wake up often at night in a cold sweat after yet another horrific nightmare that:
* my net connection has been been lost, or
* my threads have been vandalized by pro and anti-SG DGians, or
* my laptop has stopped functioning, or
* I have been banned because I let some DG members know what I really thought of them 

I then have to get online just to reassure myself that the nightmare had not come true.

Even though I know how much of my time this DG takes I can't keep away. I am committed to it in good times and bad (I don't know how my GFs (now ex-GFs) can claim that I cannot commit).

I am terrified that I won't be able to cope in the coming months when I will be travelling and often without a net connection. I need help.

This is suraj ki garmi on whom the sun has set set because of DG addiction and the reality has become one big bluedex land.

- One day I woke up and broke into Liam Neeson like tears "That was 5 hrs of sleep. I could have posted so much more for this. Why did I need this??"

- Yesterday, I screamed "Pitamah, we get the point" when a co-worker went too long with the presentation

- On Sunday when I heard "Its in the hole" at the British open, I said "oh achu commenting today"

- The whole room looked at me in bewilderment as I rolled my eyes and said "TL101" after an innocent question in a meeting

- I was almost smashed to pieces when a SA connection caught my bragging on the bluedex land after  anight of betting and xxxx......

I don't need help- I need a well paid job, a girlfriend and 24hr uninterrupted internet access from bluedex land to make up for my losses

Hi my name is pietersan and I am DG-holic. My story is almost a classic case of DGholism, the onset of which was inevitable with the advent of the Internet.  At first, I thought hanging out at chat sites and kicking it was harmless. One thing let to another and soon I was into online gambling and gaming. After a while I ran into some punks who were totally trippin' at ol' PP's. For a long time I was hooked on just online telecasts but I had to go back to those punks and I was hooked on sightscreen. When the maker of sightscreen was starting to churn impotent crap, I was out - but cricketvoice turned out to be the fix I needed. Been on cricketvoice for about 6 months and I know that I will never be clean. My goal is to slip back into moderate use.

Hello.

I am Ruchir. I think I spend most of my internet time on this DG. Once I was at home and switched my PC on and came to DG to check what new stuff had been posted. My son came up to me and saw the DG home page and immediately shouted "MOM!!! Dad is chatting again. Can you come out to play with me? He is now busy for rest of the evening." I was surprised. I asked him "How do you know I am chatting?" He said that he knew what I was doing by seeing the image of the DG home page. It was then that I realised how addicted I have become. Even my 7 yr. old son was now recognizing the DG page because of it being there on the screen all the time. I think I will start cutting down on my visits to the DG while I am at home.

BTW, DY is not telling the whole truth about the kissing incident. His gay friend was kissing him (not someone else) when he started screaming. How do I know that? Actually, DY's boyfriend is also a member of this DG. DY sent a PM to him to fix the meeting place for his date with him. Well, DY thought he sent to him. In reality, he sent to me by mistake. The PM said "Meet me at the XYZ restaurent at NN:NN time". Not knowing what to expect, I went there (out of curosity) 15 minutes ealier and sat at a corner table. At the exact time, I saw DY enter with his boyfriend. After they sat down, they started groping and kissing each other immediately. Suddenly I heard that scream from DY but they continued. I was disgusted at the open display of gay affection (I am not really gay, you know) and left. Then I saw DY posting this incident here with a twist, so I decided to put the correct version here.
