In the 3rd test said before our inning started I had said I didn’t want Dravid to play a long inning , at the most make 40 run or less. Because he is by the time last test comes overworked and no mater how fit, hungry, determine and focused you are, you need a break.

That’s why when he was given lbw  I was happy even though similar lbw  against Lara  in the 4th match was not given , [ kaif and dhoni were not out but they have to learn such things are part of test cricket.] .

Gourav has asked why I was happy at him being out when we had 500 staring at us .

I had already written before that I hope the team draws this match for him on the flat pitch and that it is better for him to get out early in the first inning  then the second.
[ why we didn’t go for the chase well it was because of the team we didn’t not because of so called Dravid defensive batting , Dravid is quite aware where his players are at present in their development. thank you]

I had also written that if 3rd test  pitch becomes a devil for Lara. then ofcorse he needs to bat in this pitch for long too. so no break for him, well we will know what it will be in the end of the series

Because I wanted him to have the chance to give his all to the last test because he is the only one who can hold his never and take the team with him to the most important  win. 

That means Dravid  batting for  long time  in the last match if we get in with a chance to win or if needed to draw.

We all saw what happen.

We won.

And Dravid  was there with the young team to see us to that amazing and simple win.

I also wrote that even if  Laxman scored a 200 he time is coming , Dravid had seen him in the slips , Laxman has stopped reacting period, even if Laxman get another series he wont play al he matches and well even if we fans hate the thought Dravid is building the team for the future. if it was for the past then Laxman would never leave because they have been playing together since under 15 days.

In another post Veeru fans were talking about Veeru in 2011.

I reacted to it by writing that the only way Veeru will be playing for India in 2011 if he like Ganguly got Dalmiya like support.

Or if veeru manage the more difficult way, that is if Dravid,  coach Greg , trainer King  and Frazer and Physiotherapist  Gloster and finally Veeru can change his fitness and mindset to his level of interest [ he tends to be bored easily] [ towards hard work not hunger for power]. other wise well.

But then I had written as Ganguly had shown in India Dalmiya support Kingdome is very possible as also the fact Indian fans like acting in batting leadership not real substance so veeru being in the Indian team there is very good possibility of him reaming in the team in the 2011 with Dalmiya like support and ofcorse he has to have fans like Ganguly had. . 

What I really think would [can] happen in 2011 Indian cricket that I will leave for another day.

Please explain a few things here:
1. You wanted RD to get out early - so you did not care abt 3rd Test? What if we lost the 3rd Test? Each test is important - not only the final fourth test is important. Dont u think so?

2. Laxman - certainly he is not in prime form - but we are going to SA series in Dec. Can we afford to leave out a player like Laxman for SA test series? Considering the difference in pitches between SA and India - do u think rookies are going to play well in "Test" matches in SA?

3. Veeru - either he will play well and remain in 2011, or he will be out. I don't think Veeru is going to remain becos of Godfather support. Thats just my opinion - you are entitled to yours.

When u get a chance, answer the qns 1 and 2 above.
