SG Effect -> All threads irrespective of subject eventually find their way to some form of SG discussion.

SG Effect Timeframe -> The minimum timeframe at which a given thread degenerates into SG based posts (pro or con). The longer a thread's SG Effect Timeframe is, the more resistant it is considered to be to the "SG Effect"

PS: This is also very closely related to the "Chappel Effect" (not to be confused with the "Chappel Show"!)

while i am happy that all the love, shove nonsense going on here is slowly ending and we are getting back into the serious business of brawls and name-calling , isn't there a difference between making fun of SG and making fun of "SG fans"?

i will leave that to your judgement and keep in mind the history of this DG and Sightscreen. i too can start posing questions like "fineleg, why do you jump in defending whenever there is a mild accusation against the "anti-SG" people and not when the accusations are thrown at the "pro-SG" people", can't i?

did i mention anything about CP? you brought him up. i was commenting on why some people may think the thread is deteriorating with a remark about the difference between making fun of SG and making fun of SG fans. you proceeded to defend CP, for some strange reason. there was more than one comment about "SG fans", if you notice.

also, the point of this thread was to exaggerate the individual idiosyncrasies/expressions, of course, all done in jest. to extend that to "SG fans", "pro-GC", "anti-RD" etc. kind of defeats the purpose, doesn't it?
