This one is really tough to call because both sides are capable of brilliance - France with skill and Italy with theatrics.

I honestly don't care who wins. I'll be glad if it is a good game - not like the Italy - Germany game which was ordinary until extra-time when the game suddenly exploded into life. As 123of would say it was a lot like evolution - Nothing for 3.8 billion years an then bang some lifeforms. Apparently, those two extra time periods elevated it to classic status.

Gotta hand it to Lippi, though. German huffed and puffed for 90 minutes while Italians dominated possession in their own half with ingenious 1-2s from center-back to left-back and back...never looking like going forward. Hard work, this game of football.

As for theatrics - hey if that's anyone's  cup of tea, I'll save you guys some trouble. Keep an eye out for Totti, Matterazi, Grosso...but I am sure you knew that.

Actually, I somehow cannot digest these people whose name ends with the suffix...'otti'......reminds me of 'potti'.
...and my likes and dislikes are mostly based on my personal bias unfortunately.

the same thing happened in euro 2004 france vs england too. zidane scored both the goals.. i want france to win only because i think zidane deserves a glorious exit
