Looks like they dug their own grave..."Inzamam does not like grass and an in house inquiry conducted by the board revealed that the Pakistan captain had instructed for a grassless pitch in Lahore," local daily The News quoted an unnamed PCB official as saying."

Adam Gilchrist, who will captain Australia against Sri Lanka on Thursday, has been fined 40% of his match fee after pleading guilty to dissent in a hearing in Adelaide. Gilchrist was reported after Australia's match against South Africa in Brisbane on January 15 when he asked Aleem Dar to refer a run-out of Boeta Dippenaar to the third umpire. ........High time!

"The Test played out in Lahore this week between India and Pakistan, in which each side batted themselves into a stupor, still served as a timely reminder of the task faced by England when they set off for the second part of their winter commitment in a few weeks' time".......and add to that their main spinner Asley Giles also is ruled out. Tough task ahead for England!

"Mahendra Singh Dhoni and Shoaib Akhtar were in the news on Tuesday, too. The latter for hurling a beamer at the century-smashing wicketkeeper and Dhoni himself for posting 148, the third highest score by an Indian with the big gloves".....Shoaib is characteristically nonchalant, and Dhoni characteristically gracious.

"Stand-in captain Younis Khan scored his second century in the series to ensure Pakistan play out another draw in the second cricket Test against India on Wednesday"....another heavy toll on Indian bowling. I feel India desperately needs a bowling coach...otherwise they are at Lord's mercy!
