This one could have been a classic ... but expect a sedate match, with both teams having qualified and looking to rest their yellow carders ... still should be enough skill on view and maybe, we'll even get to see Messi for longer!

Late night ... but give me a goal half as good as the one against Serbia and I'll have no complaints!!

I think both teams would rather face Mexico than Portugal and I imagine they will go for the win. I am going to put money on Netherlands who are officially underdogs today.

20 minutes gone and both teams starting to get their teeth into the game now. Kuyt and Van Persie looking dangerous along the flank for the Dutch...Messi and Tevez combining well for the Argies.

Shucks .. damp squib .. as I feared ... hope these two get to meet later on in the tournament at some stage .. could be a classic if the stakes are high
