The results of these two games were fairly unsurprising. I expected more goals in the Brazil-Croatia game but the refereeing was pretty ordinary for both games.

What was surprising was that both games were mildly sedative and apart from a few bright moments the fans would have been disappointed. Fans of Brazil were muted in the first half and I imagined they will be harsh on their team after a relatively low-key performance by Brazil.

Nobody will be taking Brazil lightly though and hopefully after this outing they will show display their class in the remaining  group games.

i thought croatia put up a better show in the 2nd half and started creating chances, they did well in the end. 1-0 is a fair scoreline judging by the way brazil played and the overall strengths of both teams. croatia have a good chance of making it to the knockouts. brazil i expect to roll over Oz and Japan

France didn't score a single goal in finals since winning worldcup eight years back.
