Now I am scared to call him Mr. Gundu (non Telguaites - this means Mr. Takla). I may hurt my own centiments.
Is coach and captain turning him into a bowler ? Will he lose his batting genius ? Lets wait for time to answer these.
The report I saw this morning on TV was- There are chances of rain- but nothing like spoiling even half of the game.
Ruchir - I am surprised your this posted picture is missing the meaninful customized texts  ;)  . Good that VS is alone in this picture  ;D

pankaj - Hey, i didn't know my customized text was so popular...  :D

As for him becoming a bowler, at least he scored a blistering 180 to show that extra bowling effort put on him is not having a bad effect and he is not really losing his touch. I think VS was always considered a part time bowler, specially in ODIs, even before RD/GC came. In his ODI career, he has bowled 518 overs for 69 wickets. In Tests, he has bowled 132 overs for 7 wickets - before current test.

So, I feel that RD/GC are not doing something new. They are merely carrying forward what SG/JW were doing. Which is using VS as a part time bowler. In 2 WI tests, since we went in with 4 bowlers, VS had to take extra load. Just like RD did with keeping under SG.
