Found it cool?  I wanted to see UY& RA bowl  in test cricket but the flat wicket forced me to sleep by 9 PM just after 1 hour of cricket or may be because of that Szechuan catfish I ate in the last night.

The pitch seemed to have prepared keeping in mind SRT’s 100 th century and to get the entire flat track bullies back in form. Considering VVS was very very shaky & SRT looked what GC described “mentally fragile” in England but the pitch is unfair to the new bowling attack. You pick 140K fast bowlers (they don’t come very often in India) and give them the slow-low flat pitch it won’t help their confidence.

not so soon WN. i am sure he will play in australia one last time. my only hope is he does not play ahead of ojha, who, arguably is the better spinner right now.

and so much for media people looking ahead to Aus series ::)  300 will be very tough to chase on this pitch especially if Edwards gets his radar right.

If we get this series right that itself its going to be a bonus forget the Oz series thats a write off so long as we even consider people like Yuvraj as test material....

I saw the pre-lunch session..
Ojha (and even Ashwin) was awesome.
GG and VS were playing like it was 20-20.. edges and slashes for 4s.

..and i woke up to the news of collapse.

I assume it is rustiness and "first test in the series" blues

The rustiness used to happen more abroad than at home. Of course, we have gone down to top
teams at home in the first test, and then rebounded ... but I thought against not so good teams,
we tended to win from the start!

we batted like donkeys.
First test or last test, we cannot bat like this and expect to win. GG had a freak dismissal. VS was outfoxed. The rest of the batsmen screwed it up. I read an interesting FB status of a friend: the race to 100. SRT vs Petrol Prices. All said and done, these guys need to pick their game up and get going. This west indies attack isnt poor. With edwards and rampaul they have the guns. With the ball skidding off the track our head in the air batters like YS and MSD need to grind it out.

Gambhir was lucky to survive as long as he survived in the 1st innings.
MSD's test batting is becoming a mystery , kind of anti-sehwag!

WI kind of f**k themselves picking Sammy for his captaincy instead of picking the Roach

evenly poised

one wicket and all the out-of-formers come in procession

these two have to play till 250+ if india has to win

even 225 they will collapse

if these guys get to 175 we will win. YS and MSD will do it. but i get your emotion. when i saw 125 left i thought of when we couldnt get to 120 in West indies.
