you are right. He should never have been an international player. But then unfortunately in India we allow these quota candidates and in those days the east zone hardly had any decent cricketers with good political connections.

He does suck though.

Fantastic as his match saving/winning innings have been of late, Team India has seriously messed up by not playing Laxman at number 3. Dravid of the last 3 years is just not the Dravid of yore. And all this muck about how great Laxman is playing with tail-enders should make it obvious that it shouldn't be him playing so low in the order. Strategic blunder - how can Dhoni be a great captain?
