I hope, you have better things to do.....so that I don't have to keep replying to your inane posts. This is a vicious cycle...you see! :)
Some of you guys get what you deserve.

Let me tell you something that you may not like. My colleagues in office, mostly lay followers of cricket, without the aid of facts and figures are remembering SG's captaincy days, following these dismal performances of the current Indian team. I, on the other hand, tried to defend Dhoni using all the impressive numbers( thankfully provided by DD here)......but to no avail...........numbers failed to convince them. And no, I am not sitting anywhere in Bengal...I am in Pune.
That part in bold says it all.  Thanks for confirming.

It is rather amusing to see that you can afford to feel condescending about ppl of your ilk...........personally, I feel, they know better cricket than you...but that is another subjective issue.
And yes, you are right...one gets what he deserves...and may be that's why we are having to see Michael Clarck scoring a triple century against this team.:glasses3:

SYDNEY: Unimpressed with Mahendra Singh Dhoni's leadership skills, former Australia batsman Mark Waugh called the Indian a "defensive captain", who just sits back and waits for the opposition to make mistakes.

Australia piled up 659/4 on the third day and replying to that India were 114/2, still trailing by 354 runs.

"They've been very disappointing. They (India) batted terribly and they just looked so lethargic in the field, they don't look like they want to be there," said Waugh.

"The tactics are right out there, very defensive. Dhoni is a very defensive captain. I have watched him a lot and he sits back and tries to see the opposition make mistakes.

"They've really got to change their attitude. They're pretty good at home but away from home they probably should be ranked about eighth," Waugh was quoted as saying by the foxsports.com.au.

Waugh, meanwhile, applauded the efforts of Ricky Ponting (134) and said now that the former skipper has managed to end his century drought, he is likely to score more runs.

Stating that Ponting's knock could open the floodgates, Waugh said, "He has threatened in the past three or four months with quite a few 50s and it's just good to see him make that hundred.

"He batted pretty well. I suppose you keep comparing him to the batsmen he was in his prime and he's not quite that player, but he's still very effective. He's a class player. That will keep the wolves at bay for a while I guess."

"He'll probably relax a bit more now and you'll probably see him make a lot more runs before this Test series is out."

Ponting hit his first century in two years -- 17 Tests and 33 innings and it was his 40th hundred in his 160th Test.
