we dont trust Pakistan..

http://swampland.time.com/2011/05/03/cia-chief-breaks-silence-u-s-ruled-out-involving-pakistan-in-bin-laden-raid-early-on/

"Pakistan could have undermined the operation by leaking word to its targets".

The CIA ruled out participating with its nominal South Asian ally early on because “it was decided that any effort to work with the Pakistanis could jeopardize the mission. They might alert the targets,” Panetta says

Kick the ball in .. and get some money ;D

Of all the things to find about that compound, what MSNBC's Tazeen finds is that balls were not returned!!! Wow...  ;D ;D  Listen to the 2 min clip and the lady speaks a lot without giving any information except that balls were not returned. I am surprised people still follow MSNBC.

"Intelligence reporting suggests that one of bin Laden’s wives who survived the attack has said the family had been living at the compound since 2005, a source tells TIME.

That will raise questions about the Pakistani government’s possible awareness of bin Laden’s location in recent years. But one of Panetta’s predecessors says this can work to U.S. advantage. “It opens up some opportunities for us with Pakistan,” says John McLaughlin, former deputy CIA chief. “They now should feel under some great pressure to be cooperative with us on the remaining issues,” like going after the Taliban elsewhere in the country."

This country is really a joke and has no self-respect.  And India invites these crooks to watch cricket match and negotiates with terrorists, even frees them so that they can kill more people around the world.   That Kandahar deal was a disgrace, so was the one for Mufti's daughter.  I like the fact that US never negotiates with terrorists.

Where do you get that?  Pass the name to CIA :)

India is a land of traitors and individual self-interests - I guess this is the ultimate expression of freedom - the freedom to subvert your nation.

India, Pak planning bilateral hockey series
Tuesday, 12 April 2011

Indian and Pakistan Hockey authorities are planning to conduct bilateral hockey series in both countries this year and will shortly reach an agreement on the modalities for conducting the matches.

Asif Bajwa, secretary of the Pakistan Hockey Federation (PHF), told a media conference in Islamabad today that they have discussed the prospects of such a series with their Indian counterparts after Pakistan Prime Minister Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani visited India recently for witnessing the semi finals of the 2011 cricket world cup at Mohali in Punjab.

“We have almost come to an agreement and some more issues are still to be worked out but we are hopeful of reaching an agreement soon on conducting bilateral hockey series in India and Pakistan,” Bajwa said.

The hockey teams of two countries have not played any home series against each other after the November 2008 terror attack on Mumbai. Bajwa said Pakistani team is passing through a very busy international schedule this year but still it would like to play against India in the next six months. Pakistani hockey players are also eagerly waiting for such a series, he said.

It was on NDTV site. Actually he was criticizing the Americans for not giving him a proper funeral along the Muslim customs and traditions....This Digvijay Singh has increasingly become an embarassment for the Congress.

What does this traitor has to say about the bodies that were vaporized and never could be found for their families for closure?  He should be shot dead for such unthoughtful and treacherous statement.

Are you talking about the (by now) millions in Iraq and Afghanistan that have been vapourised? I agree. Only the US could hold within it the kind of vengeful rage, by which they don't even give a dead man a proper burial. And considering that like Beta Bush and Obama, Osama too didn't actually kill anyone, but was simply responsible for directing mayhem, what kind of gallantry are the US trying to proffer.

BTW, did anyone notice what the codename for the operation was: Geronimo. It's not surprising at all... that the US did it deliberately. It is also not surprising that so many Republicans came out in Obama's support and praise afterwards. Man is a proper wolf-in-sheep's-clothing.

If the Whitehouse Press Secretary (equivalent position as that of Digvijay) would have said this he would have ended in prison by now.

No.It is because at least in the US they do not tolerate traitors. In India on the other hand we will never have the courage to go after mass murderers like Hafeez Saeed and Dawood. Belonging to different parties is one thing but being traitors (like the Communist Party of India which supported Chinese aggression of India in1962 and criticized Indian govt for daring to challenge their brothers in China) is a differnt matter.

Nah.  The greatest nation on the earth will never make the mistake of putting such incompetent people to be the Whitehouse Press Secretary.

I found people in the U.S. to be very patriotic though outwardly they never appear as such.  I will never forget an incident in the aftermath of Sep'11th attacks.   At the time I was living in Upstate NY.  A friend of mine who I used to work at the time remarked to me that she did not mind paying extra federal taxes if it means getting all the doers of the Sep'11 attacks.  She said that it is the least she could to help the country to nab the perpetrators.  It was quite amazing the way she said it when it came to her country being attacked and wanting to do her bit.  I can never forget that day and the resolve in the voice of a normal citizen who otherwise in real life was happy go lucky type.

FP, US making mistakes or not is irrelevant here. Digvijay Singh has consitently proven himself to put vote interests above national interests. US is a bully. We all know that. But forget about US, look within your own house.

Dex, Diggy has asked for a proper burial for a dead man. I believe it to be a valid demand.

Also, keep in mind, the US' reason for the burial at sea is not much different from colonial Soviet obliteration of Chengiz Khan's grave in Mongolia or colonial British burial of Bahadur Shah Zafar in an unmarked grave.

The original plan was to capture him alive and take him to Gitmo for some 3-on-1 action. After that they were going to feed his dead body to pigs but there were concerns all along that pigs were unlikely to cooperate.

This is top secret - Americans would be very upset to learn that the operation got botched.

Did Osama give proper burial to the people he killed?  If not, why does he deserve one?

When the dog bites me several times, I will shoot him - that's the parallel you can draw here.

Let me make it clear that I do not condone USA government's own atrocities but I do not support killing of innocent people by Osama either and he deserves no compassion dead or live.  I can't tolerate spineless negotiation of Indian government and release of terrorists to kill more people either, and the politics of treachery.

If I remember correctly, Osama has been variously called a barbarian, enemy of civilization, destroyer of "our way of life". So where's the difference between Obama and Osama? Just a 'b' for a 's'?

Then there is of course the dog, as adhunikbarbarian points out.

I dont think anyone here has condoned the butchering of innocent civilians--by terrorists or USA (the last part, I'm a bit unsure though). And Osama's burial has nothing to do with India's spineless leadership, or is there?

Osama's burial  has nothing to do with India's spineless leadership as such - USA did whatever they see fit not worrying about votes and appeasement - contrasting with spineless Indian politicians.

Osama's burial  has nothing to do with India's spineless leadership as such - USA did whatever they see fit not worrying about votes and appeasement - contrasting with spineless Indian politicians.
The US Administration hardly needs to worry about any appeasment as in "one nation under god" everyone falls in line when any president or village idiot asks them to do so.

Wouldn't you say that it is still better than playing with religion and caste for votes, releasing terrorists to kill more people to appease 1 or 100 persons?

No. Both are equally detestable.

How come Digvijay Singh got sensitive about someone's ( that too...Osama bin Laden's) proper burial?!
Atleast he got some burial......otherwise the mob would have tore him apart.
He should have rather been more sensitive about Laden's fugitive life-style....and the associated human rights issues, if any. Imagine a guy living in fear without telephone, internet, etc for so many years..............where are the Human rights group, when he needed them most?! :)

Some Indians suddenly get hyper-sensitive on weird issues! :-\

I agree. Therefore such people need to be fired. Not literally, but from their job.

Gen Secy of Congress Party is an honorary post.
But I must say, getting rid of the Prince of Baramati and the King of Gondia, through, maybe a surgical operation of the OBL type, would be more beneficial to India than removing the Raja of Rajogarh. Remember, he hasn't been exactly wrong in many of his pronouncements, even while quite openly pandering to a Moplah vote bank.

I bet it was a way of probing for proof of OBL's death. So far there isn't any, bar the speechifcations by BHO and cohorts, in WHOM we all trust!

So I also heard and posted about OBL's daughter having told Al Arabiya. However, there too, it seems she only spoke to a Paki Army brass, who told the Al Arabiya reporter.
