The worst part was when he accused Kapil Dev of match fixing and tried to involve his chamchas like Prashant Vaidya and Ali Irani to back him up. Unfortunately for him even his chamchas got cold feet about implicating Kapil.
Kaps breakdown on BBC is one of the most unforgettable episodes in this whole sorry saga.

How far is this corroborated? Is it just testimony?

This says Lara took money, and so did Alec Stewart, Aravind and Ranatuga. Why is ICC silent on them?

Does anyone know why Gavaskar's statement was not taken? His name was mentioned a couple of times in the various statements though not in a bad way.

prsfr,
I remember how hostile the ECB became when Alec Stewart's name came up. In addition to those people, how about Warne and May getting away with those "fines"?
What about Aravinda De Silva's yearly remittance to his girlfriend in Aus, his love for fast cars turning into reality etc? When De Silva was in great form b/w 96 and 98, I remember a lot of Indians saying how our cricketers should learn from him and how he, in the dedication for the game, has decided to postpone his plans to settle down with a wife. LOL

The more I hear all this, the more repulsed I feel at how all the governing bodies, especially ICC, are criminal organizations (not saying that everybody in it are criminals). And surprisingly, BCCI is the only body that took any real action!! The fans really are the victims here.
