Yes.He would have beaten Tendulkar's record if Bangladesh had scored more runs for the chase or if Australia had batted first.

- most sixes in an innings
- most boundaries (4s and 6s) in an innings
- highest percentage of runs in an innings (79%)
- highest SR for an innings greater than 150.

Dhoni faced a similar situation against SL some 4-5 years ago

chasing 290-odd he was left stranded on 183*

two points -

if Watto wanted the record for highest individual score in an inning then he should have hogged more strike.

Also, if he wanted to do this sort of work when it counted he should have thought about doing it 2 ODIs ago  :P no point huffing and puffing when the house you want to blow down is 4 years away  ::Whip:: ::Whip::

Yea DD, With Watson getting in, RR will really gain the additional punch the team is looking for.
An additional bat and bowl.
Watson,Trivedi,Botha,Warne - Have few who can bowl.
Trivedi and Paunikar were my picks from the last game.
Especially this kid Paunikar, the shots he played in first two overs against Ojha and Steyn were top class.
I think he would be a find in this IPL if given enough chances. Warne is known to back up the talent.
So i expect him getting enough games.
Batting would still revolve around  Watson,Taylor.  Botha & Paunikar did show a glimpse of what is coming but have to keep the finger crosssed. If  RR can manage to pull tomorrow's game as well, I will get behind them. This year i don't have a team to root for but love to cheer underdogs making upsets. I wanted KKR to turn something around this year. I trust Warne's brain capable enough to cause upsets. However there is only so much smart captains can do. Had they had couple more matchwinners, I had no doubt RR would have been a team to be feared. After all the pre IPL fiasco with RR, RR does has a point to prove. Lets keep our fingers crossed.

yes, and also some decent players havent gotten a game yet - Chahar, Nayan Doshi, Pankaj Singh, Rahane, Pinal Shah, Tait (and Watto)

it's not a bad team. finally. and for a team given 75% of the resources to play with it's incredible. I def predict a top 5 finish. Making it to semis should get them good credit

Incredible innings, nonetheless.

I wonder if the boundaries were drawn in or was he just in that kinda form ?

Either way, amazing performance  ::cheers:: ::cheers::
