BERLIN: World Cup hosts Germany will announce their squad on the last possible day, May 15, the team's general manager Oliver Bierhoff said Saturday.

Coach Juergen Klinsmann had originally said he would reveal his 23-player squad May 14, but has now changed his mind and put back the nomination by a day.

All 32 teams must submit their squads to the ruling body FIFA by midnight May 15. The World Cup runs June 9-July 9.

Germany start their final preparations with a training camp in Sardinia on May 16.
