better then Gangu , I suppose . Poor fellow , did everything he could to play in the Champions League , but it was obvious that his captaincy wont take him or his team anywhere near the CL T20 , so he let go his poor team with the choicest  of remarks and flew off all alone to SA albeit as a commentator so that he can atleast be a part of CL T20 where he can see Dravid and his test team in action for the 2nd time in 2 years at the CL T20..

You are talking abt the 2nd highest run scorer of the last IPL ( till the league stages)!
Dravid should concentrate on Test batting imo.............................we almost lost the last Test, thanks to him.

And SG has been selected by ESPN as the cricketing expert ( along with Symonds) for his analytical skills and some good cricketing insights as well. I know, you are feeling jealous.. :D

If Dravid was as selfish as Ganguly , he could have played for himself instead of playing for his team.Look where RCB is now , one of the best IPL teams as compared to being laughed at  during the 1st season . All thanks to our 2 icons who stayed true to their icon status.

Infact the performers in RCB are all Dravid picks be it Kallis , Taylor , Steyn, White and even Kumble . Mallya's picks like KP , Ryder and Morgan have not yet justified their positions in the team .

Taylor and White came in the next season......and as far as I know, they were Mallya's picks.
Anyway, player picking is not Dravid's strength.

FYI , Taylor and White were in the team right fro the first match in the 1st season itself . As far as I know Sachin, RD , SG   were definitely involved in selecting their respective teams . Now we all know after a reasonable 3 year term as to whose selection were better.
