Do u guys know of this old incident? Was news to me - had not heard of this before?
What is the law in NZ? Cannot wear dirty shoes from another country into NZ for agri reasons?

i think this has to do with the fact that NZ has insanely strict agri laws to ensure that they are madcow and foot rot disease free.

I know Sehwag was too busy pounding down the extra airline meals to deal with videos and forms. Wonder what Harbhajan's excuse was. Also, Javagal Srinath cannot be allowed into NZ now as his mouth is a bio hazard, what with all the sh*t it spews.

I think it has to do with the fact that both Australia and New Zealand are considered very fragile ecologies. They are very worried about foreign species of animals and plants being brought in unwittingly into their countries and destroying the native species.
