110 SR for someone playing 15 overs  :nono: :nono:
who do you thnk he is ? ganguly  :P

actually regardless of how many runs he scores in the last 2-3 overs, throughout the innings his insipid SR would have affected the players around him...what he gets at the end is purely for stats.

yes kkr would have scored 144. mi have 174
160, actually :)
the psychological affects on other players still stands ;)

What running by SRT.  Hard run second and he makes it. :notworthy:
Haha.  Does not want the single.  Want to finish off.
As the saying goes when a player takes his time out there in the middle he might as well finish it offl.

Tendulkar showed how to do that understanding getting out might in that 16th, 17th over timeframe puts the onus on the other unsettled new batsman and he took a measured approach in that span.  That was a great exhibition to tell you the truth.

150 S/R in the end is awesome.

And take a bow for that hard running between the wickets in the last over.  Converting tough two's after being there in the crease throughout the 20 overs.

For his sake let us hope MI'ans will win today.

MI score would not have been more than 140 had Pollard been run out in that first ball he faced and had SRT been not dropped at 45 by Dole. An easy catch missed and potentially a very expensive now.

Ofcourse that is 20-20 for you.

All that will be forgotten if Watson, Ojha, Lumn, YP come to the party.

hope the gangulians will now shut up for ever (but knowing them they wont). Yesterday Dravid showed them the difference between himself and Ganguly and today SRT showed them how it is done. You dont leave the game with a 110 sr. If you have played that many balls ... u finish the game.

Calling SRT Ganguly's daddy would have been an insult to SRT who may have objections to being linked to THAT!!!

YP needs to be more consistent and judicious in his shot selection.. With Yuvi & MSD's form so-so, we need YP to do well in t20 worldcup

MI is red hot this innings.. RR now 89/7

today's game you cant blame him for his shot. the RRR was 14.4 when he got out. He really had to throw everything at it if they had to have a chance.

I think MI were very lucky with the scheduling . Got to play 7 out of first 8 matches at home . Basically it meantthey could play a match , rest and relax and wait for the next opposition to come. If they had  to travel like the other teams , they would not be so well placed in the points table.

and they also got to eat home cooked food. Big deal.  ;D

110 SR for someone playing 15 overs  :nono: :nono:
As long as the S/R is made up to 130 and above it should be fine.  If not it is unfulfilled from a team perspective.

Exactly. If SRT had got out for a 50 ball 50 yesterday, his innings would have been below par. As it happened, he pulled through and made up for it towards the end.

if he cant handle short stuff from Pollard, he has a problem

Yes, we benefited. Our game against DC was also effectively a home game (at D Y Patil). Having said that, when Sachin bats well, anywhere in the country is a home venue for MI :D

But, dont forget, we beat Delhi at the Kotla ...how many other teams have managed that?
