Mumbai Indians vs Rajasthan Royals
« on: April 11, 2010, 09:50:22 AM »
Hope the Royals will win again today. It will not hurt Mumbai but will help the Royals.

Shilpa Shetty (in Burkha) and Yousuf Pathan went to the Dargah to pray for today's victory:

RR sledging Tiwari.. and he smacks one
that was unnecessary by Watson and Warne..
Hope SRT and Tiwari shows them their place...

Updated: as I say he gets out to a short ball

I think MI were very lucky with the scheduling . Got to play 7 out of first 8 matches at home . Basically it meantthey could play a match , rest and relax and wait for the next opposition to come. If they had  to travel like the other teams , they would not be so well placed in the points table.

There is some truth to it.. if they lose today, it will be clear that they are not travelling well

its SRT everything is justified...had it been SG then it would have been the beginning of a long mud slinging campaign here on the DG

As long as the S/R is made up to 130 and above it should be fine.  If not it is unfulfilled from a team perspective.

SRT : class in that over against same bowler who got 3 wickets first up. SRT has so much time to play that four. Calmly picks up the ball and hits it straight :notworthy:

The big man Pollard taking the game away from Warne.  They better watch out here.

Timely break for RR.  Pollard goes.  143/5 in 18 MI'ans.

Tendulkar now opening up with successive 4's of Watson.  130 S/R for him now.  Not bad.

actually regardless of how many runs he scores in the last 2-3 overs, throughout the innings his insipid SR would have affected the players around him...what he gets at the end is purely for stats.

It might be easier to argue that SRT might have got out at the lowest SR point somewhere in the 15th over.
