The word (allegedly) in Aussie cricket cycles is that the famous fall out between Pup and Symonds had less to do with Symonds being drunk (and in contravention of team policy -- for which he was sent home from tour) rather than the fact that Symonds made one too many colorful jokes about Bingle whom both erstwhile friends had bing(ed) for a period before she decided to settle down seriously with the golden boy of Oz cricket.

Mike Dog thought that Monkey's jokes referring to past sharing was distasteful and out of bounds, now that Lara was the dog's B, courtesy of the $200K finger collar, and that is what led to an ugly fight and fallout between the dog and the monkey.

Once that happened, Symonds position in the team became untenable -- Mike D was CA's anointed star of the future, Roy Monkey was a passerby in the scheme of things. At this point in time, all that was needed by CA was an excuse to excise a malignant tumor, and the Monkey willingly provided it by indulging in his drunken routine --repeatedly.

Ramnaresh Sarwan, if sledged with "how does Lara's *** taste" can retort with: "I didn't know Pup was gay".

The Ganguly failure and 20-20 clueless effect on Blwe.  He is still figuring out which of Ganguly's mis-hits that did not go for boundary in yesterday's game were the most graceful. So cut him some slack.
