The first highest synthetic hockey turf ground in Shillaro hill village of Himachal Pradesh remains neglected. Synthetic turf was laid on the ground in November last year, but even after that the ground remains unutilized. National-level hockey players believe that it would have been better for Indian hockey players to have a fitness camp here at Shillaroo before the World Cup for better performance as synthetic turfs have a faster outfield, which is crucial to win matches at international level.
