Or is jus ta  one off real bad performance, that was beyond dismal.

they really should be doing better than that.

but it IS just a t20. let's see what happens in the bigger games

they may struggle if the pitch has some juice in it. however, at home, they could challenge some of the weaker sides

Barring the last season, India have usually had a tough time in NZ not being able to adjust to the wind and swing. What is surprising
is in the first match the damage came from the spinners.

I think T-20 matches have a way of skewing things a lot ...for instance India lost horribly in the sole T-20 in Australia (also lost in NZ) but was a much better side in the ODIs. Just the pressure of getting a lot - esp in nz when you see those small grounds, all you want to do is clear them - batting first takes its toll, i guess. The same thing happened to India - VS hit a six off the first ball he faced on tour and every batsman was trying to clear the boundary every over. Most got out caught in the deep.

but bangles are really bad. they maybe ok at home but away ... they really are not even in the same plane as the other international sides (barring zim)

They had a good start in today's odi ...for as long as 30-35 overs. But now Oram's killing them.
