Kix, are you suggesting that the poor position of Aus in this test match is due to not playing a practice match? If so, are not you supporting j's argument? Then why did you start your reply with "Nope"?

Devatha, the fact of the matter is that Bangaladesh is going to loose this test match. By now Aussies already have decent practice in Bdsh conditions and irrespective of they doing follow on or not, the end result would be that they will comfortably win.

Even if Bdsh has to score 150 plus in 4th innings, they will loose.

True. Otherwise how could they have ruled the Test & ODI cricket for almost 11 years? They can simply claw the advantage back. They can do it even against very good teams. But what Bangladesh has shown is a good improvement. Now, they will be more confident when playing other teams and start believing more in their ability.

Adding to what Devatha and J have said, Oz has begun really well today and I think this pair and the next will see them through beyond follow on and then Oz will just squeeze the life out of Bang in the second innings.

Having had said that in terms of sheer skills of spin bowling this match has two really great bowlers one on either side, I feel along with Warne, Mohd. Rafique is also a class act who has got lost in the cloud of defeats.

thinking about it, dint Aus do just about this kind of Down-out-out-Recover-and-win acts in 3 successive Tests in SL recently???

exactly Aus conceded 1st innings lead in each of the 3 tests - 161, 6 and 91 respectively and stll won all 3 tests !!!!!!
