Did I say SRT scored well? SRT has too many low scores in a sequence. Then somehow he scores 2, 3 good innings & then again starts the sequence.
So then why not consdier VVS as well just like SRT is considered.  See what he has to offer.  Is that too much to ask.  Then why the hell they asked him to lead Challengers.  So to you that is OK for GC and others to treat VVS that way who played as many important knocks as SRT or RD in the last few years.

Kaif is struggling in ODIs after zim tour, too many single digit scores.

What I observe is that, the problems VS had in ODIs, SRT had in Tests & ODIs, VVS had in Tests before that zim tour & after that are mostly similar. I didn't find how GC damaged the confidence of top order batsmen and how it affected their failure/success.
Ofcourse you won't why would you????Your guy never gets kicked out where as guys like VVS always are on the chopping block.  You think that makes no difference in the pschye.  Great.

When was VVS on the chopping block for tests? How much effect the intermittent injuries will have on the psyche? Which batsman was under lot of pressure for a long long time for not matching the expectations of people (now SG, but before & after that)? Who got booed recently?

Yes. VVS scored match winning knocks in tests. So, he is not on the chopping block for tests. He didn't score any match winning knock in ODIs for 2 years, so he was dropped from ODIs. Simple, isn't it? SRT scores these kind of knocks intemittently, so he was not dropped either in ODIs or in Tests.

Ofcourse getting booed by the crowd is one thing and knowing there is no way that one is going to get dropped like SRT is another.  It makes a difference.  For the record they did the right thing by booing SRT.  They cheered him when he did great and booed when he let them down.  That is part of the game.

So that potential from tests can always be tranformed to ODI as well.  He did in ODI's as well as he did in lahore.  There is a history there.  As for the form he showed that in Challengers as well.

If we talk about history & form of VVS in domestics, there will be a similar analogy for SG. He also had a great history of 15000 runs & intermittent domestic form.

I never ever made light of SG's accomplishments.  I am taking up for VVS who's case is genuine IMO.
