IPL Semi Final tussle - two BIG matches today

I think as things stand now, DD and CSK are practically through to the semis. DC also appears to have booked a slot after their win over RR yesterday.

That leaves RR, KXIP, BRC & MI fighting it out for the last slot.

RR has already played 11 matches and the other 3 teams plays their respective 11th matches today.

What makes it even more interesting is that two of these teams (KXIP and MI) are pitted against each other - with only one point separating the two teams.

I think today's results will go a long way towards narrowing it down.

If KXIP wins, it goes to No 4, with games v/s DD, DC & CSK in hand. If it loses, it slips to either No 6 or No 7 (if BRC win)

If MI wins, it goes to No 4, with games v/s RR, CSK & DD in hand. If it loses, it stays at No 6 or slips to No 7 (if BRC win)

If BRC wins, it goes to No 5 (KXIP win) or stays at No 7 (MI win) - games in hand v/s CSK, DD & DC. If it loses, it stays at No 7

All three teams have matches against tough teams coming up after this one.

It does look like the winner of the KXIP v/s MI match today has a great chance to make a decisive move today. KXIP, in particular, can move much ahead of MI & BRC & then just try to keep RR away.

So BRC remains in the hunt. Moves up to No 6 on the table. Now can MI pull it off against KXIP and go up to No 4 or will they remain at No 7?

The race is heating up.

yeah ..and now they are at No 6 and 7

MI edges RR out of the top 4 on a superior RR.

The MI v/s RR match will be a HUGE one for both teams.
