On May 2nd , we will be hosting the 'Fake IPL blogger' on CricketVoice for a live chat/QA session. After receiving the e-mail address through a journalist at a major Indian newspaper, I've been in touch with the Fake blogger and invited him to chat on CV. After initial hesitation (due to IP address and such), s/he has agreed to take part in at least a Q and A session where he'll respond to questions (posted on a public thread that day and selected by debate mods) as they're posted via e-mail. We're still working on getting him/her for a live chat scenario but the question of IP address being recorded still remains though it might still be possible due to the hot proxy servers that the blogger can avail.

While with anonymous Ids, there always remains a doubt as to whether or not the blogger is real, in my conversations with the blogger, I have reason to believe that the blogger is not bluffing. (bloggers are, afterall, egomaniacs who love attention!)

We're still looking for journalists/writers/well-known bloggers to moderate the session. In spite of Prem Panicker's interest, he's unable to do so due the exclusivity contract he has with Rediff. There are similar issues with a couple of Hindustan Time journalists that read the forum and have been in touch with a couple of us in the past. However, regardless of whether a big name joins us or not, I've no doubt that you guys will be full of high-quality questions 

The live interview will take place on the May 2nd, a day after the Knight Riders take on the Mumbai Indians at 9 AM IST/ 4:30 AM GMT.
