Another thrilling match on the cards

Cape Town: A thrilling encounter is on the cards with the tactful Shane Warne’s Rajasthan Royals challenging win-hungry Kings XI Punjab in an Indian Premier League (IPL) cricket match here on Sunday.

Rajasthan Royals pulled off a win via the Super Over in a nerve-wrecking tie against Kolkata Knight Riders, putting behind its two successive losses.

The Jaipur brigade would now try its best to build on its success and improve the run rate to fire up its title defence instead of slipping below the fourth position from here on.

With all-rounder Yusuf Pathan doing well and rookie pacer Kamran Khan living up to Warne’s expectation, Rajasthan Royals has also showed it was not missing the services of its inaugural edition heroes Shane Watson and Sohail Tanvir anymore.

Kings XI Punjab, also with just one victory, will require to be extra cautious. Skipper Yuvraj Singh would rely on his bowlers to tame the opposition.

“We experimented with the bowling, shuffled it around and it worked in the end. We bowled and batted well and stuck to our plans. I’m happy with the result,” Yuvraj said after the seven-wicket win over Royal Challengers Bangalore on Friday.

Riding on the heroics of Ravi Bopara, who hammered a match-winning 85 runs, and bowler Yusuf Abdullah, the Preity Zinta-owned team would hope to climb the rungs on the points table. — PTI

This will be close ...both teams appear weak although KXIP has a great batting line up that may tilt the scales a bit if the surface is a good one.

To me KPXI seems like winning this one.
With their batting line up, they can either chase 200 or set that kind of targert against a good bowling attack.

While I am supporting MI, I'll watch RR any day just to catch Warne bowling. It is a priviledge!!!

His delivery to beat Dravid in the first match was just awesome. Turning the clock back. Dravid was nice enough to acknowledge with a nod of his head!

Irfan is just 24. I know he hasn't been the most fluent against top bowling but I think if he focusses on batting ('batting allrounder' may be), he will eventually make it to the team on his batting abilities.
