This guy literally runs half way down the pitch and stops and at the other end you have the top scorer for your team...

This is not the first time this guy has shown such selfishness....

I remember 14 years ago , when both were trying their best to get into the Indian team , SG did the same what Venu did now . Ran out Dravid.

That was bad.  But Gibbs should have forced him to run and continue.

It was just a tongue in cheek remark . There was absolutely no need to call Venu as a mongrel , selfish etc etc.

Not to worry sudzz... trolls will be trolls..

In any case the troll has got his data wrong...it is "supposedly" SRT who ran out RD and RD came back to the pavilion dejected but refused to be drawn into any kind of discussion on that particular ocassion..

It happens.. in their need to show someone in poor light, people actually end up showing their ignorance of the game and the actual incident.

Sometimes tongue in cheek remarks are not good if the teeth comes in between... the bite can be pretty hurting

Hello , which match are you talking abt . I am speaking abt the Challenger trophy match just after/before WC 1996 . Both were in the same team and were batting together when Ganguly called for a suicidal single and left Dravid extreamly angry . Infact there were reports that it was a deliberate act by Ganguly as he feared Dravid was the one who was competing against him for the slot in the Indian team.

Though SG reference was not appropriate here I have seen similar things on lots of threads.  So if we keep using choice words on all of them I can assure that  all threads will head to the VIP board.

Fair enough you have a point, I could have restrained myself with respect to the choice of words but I don't take it kindly with such deliberate acts of pulling threads down the drain.
