... who won't be playing! Better, let's wait and keep an eye for this Jhunjhunwala kid. I'm also interested in Irfan's elder brother... though I have no idea how good or bad he is...

Nah. Just choosing Bengal because it is SG's team. doesen't matter whether they're playing or not. When my team is not playing and I have nothing to choose between the two teams playing, I just have to find some reason to support one of the two teams.

call them trundlers or whatever, they are the best fast bowling combo in any Ranji team currently.

But don't tell that to anyone else. Just file it in to ur brain that Bose and Paul r trundlers, and IKP is a fast bowler, and see how simple and straight forward this world becomes.

not really IP bowls on an average in the 130s. Bose would seldom cross 130, paul almost never does, his effort ball is 130.

make that 130 or a bit less. IP rarely crosses 132-133 these days.

Has anyone wondered whether one guy on this forum not only hates SG, but everyone connected to the Bengal team?

No, Jai, quite likely he hates all Bengalis. I have written about this extensively in the old DG, but to refresh memories, imho this is what I think are the forces at play:--

From previous post in thread: "Zimbabwe suspend themselves from Tests" in Prempanix DG

Blind hatred towards a certain vision of modernity, that Bengal and Bengalis seem to embody as a generalisation, is what is quite likely behind many of the outrageous attacks, innit? Apart from any historical animosities that may exist, I mean. Would it be very wrong to say that the Congress and BJP mindsets, representing soft and hard chauvinism [linguistic, parochial, religious] of a majority of the Hindi heartland is at work here. As it has been, since independence and partition. The Dravidian movement managed to counter some parts of that onslaught in the South, and then assimilated the rest through the Madras film industry and the flowering of IT, corporate culture etc... But how do you assimilate the disbursal and reception of knowledge primed for creating a particular mindset, with anything that seems to revolt against such tendencies, illustrated by the typified imaginary conception of the Bengali...
