How far is Nottingham from London?
« on: April 16, 2009, 03:54:35 PM »
Looking to see if I can get tickets for the Bangladesh game since i will be in London for a couple of days. Does anyone know how far is Nottingham from London? Is it less than a couple of hours away and is there a way to get back to London late in the evening (the game starts at 5:30 PM supposedly)

From the top of my head..

Nottingham is in the midlands.. London in the southeast. Must be about 150 miles or so..

Defintely more than 2 hours of drive time... specially due to traffic - specially getting in and out of London.

Try google maps

BTW, they drive on the left ....and driving in London (with some treacherous roundabouts and very narrow lanes) is not as easy for an American driver as it would appear ;D ;D

but Hum Hum hain :)

Hum dilli ki sadakon par gaadi chalate hain sir. Once you have done that you can drive even on the moon :)

But not planning to rent a car. Mainly gonna be in London only ... so the tube works just fine. Will either take the train to go to Nott (If I do go and am able to get tickets).
