puhleez do not send dhawan and rahane in the top 4 !
What happened to Nayyar ? I would prefer SRT bats cautiously(still over 100 RPO) and others hit around him, If players like Duminy come to crease, SRT should take the charge. It is very difficult to have  a set batting order in T20. Depends whether the openers play 10 overs or 3 wickets fall in first three overs.

Actually it is funny you say that.  If you look at the game to game value for the MI'ans Duminy has been their main guy. I as a Charger fan is very wary of him and Bravo as well as is on Nayar.  These guys are as much as a threat too.

Well I think SRT and Duminy are two precious players, who probably need an over or two before accelerating unless are treated with Agarkar 4 balls to start with.  The idea was, when Duminy comes to crease,  Jaya would be al ready gone and SRT may have had his eye set, Let Duminy play that role and SRT start the charge,  after an over or so, really does not matter.

Well atleast we are playing the extra bowler today. Good aggressive move. And both newbies have picked up important wickets.

Yep.. dheere dheere sab (desi) budhdhe bahar ho rahe hain. Wonder if MI doesnt make the Semis, will he return next year. Hayden is still performing, AG's numbers are falling.

Or are you chickening out of that too?

The big questions this post season will be..
1. Will SRK and Mukesh Ambani let SG and SRT go and/or ease them out "upstairs" for next season? Will SG and SRT accept a different role? Who will be more receptive / co-operative in any transition?
2. What will be the fan reaction in each of those cities?
3. Will Mumbai react more emotionally than Kolkata?
4. Who will KKR and MI build their teams around? I think KKR should build around BM ..but MI, I am not sure?

neither was the petition stupid nor was it idiotic. nor is SRT a budhau. nor am i chickening out of anything.

Do you mean to say "kick out" instead of let go ? Im not sure SG will play anyway ... it is hard to stay away from cricket for a year and then come back. SRT I think will continue to play. No one will kick him out.

While the discussion is focussed on KKR.. should we not talk about this team...the best on paper after DD.

IMO, coaching was not the issue .. they kept messing up the line-up. Teams need a steady line-up.

One shining spot for them - JP Duminy. He has been consistent and their best player.

while i agree about the batting lineup...if the messing around had clicked a couple of times, we'd be talking about the genius of sachin.

sachin's form was the worst part about MI's failure

sachin has tried captaincy on several avenues several times - and has generally failed. i think it is enough to write him off as a failure as captain !

Yes, agreed. It is time to hold Gavaskar responsible for propagating the meaningless "he has a great cricketing brain".
