Untrue, apparently. Cricinfo scrambling to change it.

With the volatile situation in Pakistan (and dare I say, still a possibility in India), this was only a matter of time. Sadly, some policemen are dead. I hope no player is seriously injured.

Not really important. In any case I don't agree. Just like the WC Semi final went to SL.

"The bus came under attack as we were driving to the stadium, the gunmen targeted the wheels of the bus first and then the bus," Mahela Jayawardene told Cricinfo. "We all dived to the floor to take cover. About five players have been injured and also Paul Farbrace [a member of the support staff], but most of the injuries appear to be minor at this stage and caused by debris."

i agree completely with you. its just that i dont want innocent players being killed in a place where a minority of the population doesnt want them around. i really feel bad for the people of pakistan who like cricket. its going to be a long time before they see international players there again. as a country though pakistan needs help to control and eliminate this problem.

unfortunately till this global sickness is reined in, it could happen anywhere.

Now that Pakistan will definitely be a no-no for any international cricketing events for years, their sick machinery and retarded & armed sympathizers will want to drag down India with it. It is very difficult to effectively protect cricketers from lunatics with kalashnikovs at all times. Right now, ICL seems like a safe choice!
