Yuki Bhambri Saturday became the first Indian to win the Australian Open Junior Boys title. He beat Alexandros-Ferdinandos Georgoudas of Germany 6-3, 6-1.

Yes i do have reason to be so over-reactive and negative. We always had these promises in Paes/Bhupathi/Sania but none of these turn into a top 10 player .
Imagine if Indian cricket team repeatedly keep on producing Lakshman Sivarama Krishnan or Hirwani who just promise to be legends just to fade away and we never get a world class spinner like a Kumble....i guess you will say the same thing.

If we never had these young promises (Somdev/Sania/Yuki) i probably wouldnt have complained, but it seems we are producing lot of promising talents who just fade away.
One common thread in all these is not having enough money to get a world class coach/physio. I hope Somdev does not fall in the same trap.
Sania still works in the same mode where she hires a good coach for a few months...i dont see her progressing too much.Just rejoicing the performance does not help, i will talk to you on Yuki after 3/4 years. If he keeps on working with local coaches he will land up nowhere like a Leander.
