Taken on Sunday during the special BCCI meet to discuss how to 'improve' Indian cricket. Come up with some witty ones.

The story is here: Paid selectors to bat for cricket board

Friends, desi version!Aditya KumarPosted online: Monday, March 27, 2006 at 0000 hrs
New delhi, March 26
What happens when estranged friends bump into each other — well a faint exchange of smile? Sourav Ganguly meeting his Team India compatriot and present captain Rahul Dravid at the meeting of BCCI’s special advisory committee on Sunday in New Delhi presented a similar picture. There was hardly any exchange of words... certainly not in public — between the two stalwarts who along with Sachin Tendulkar formed the mighty trinity of Indian cricket not many years back. When asked about his meeting with Dravid, Sourav said, “ It was nice,” but Dravid remained his usual tight lipped self.

Does Sourav fit into Dravid’s scheme of things? Well its all open to interpretation.. or is it just too obvious. Given the mystery shrouding Sehwag’s fitness and Tendulkar’s unavailabilty, Ganguly with his vast experience should be a logical replacement. But even the mention of Ganguly is not welcomed in the corridors of power of Indian cricket. But you never know...
