Hmmm, I strongly suspect Dravid may announce his retirement before the Nagpur test starts.....
Most likely after, if he does not do well otherwise he can take a dig at the critcs like VVS did after his 200. ;D

IC saying there are umpiring mistakes and there are bad decisions - GG got a bad decision.
Absolutely, first impression was missing leg, obvious to all except Dar.

Yes, please let me know if there are any more. I updated the GG decision in the Umpire-Watch thread.

that was the only serious goof up, i think

if you are looking for good decisions as well, Bowden gave Watson not out to a big LBW appeal late on day 3 - there was an inside edge that no one (including the commentators) noticed in real time.

I think this Test is another example on why we would be better off on a more sporting track than these slow dead pitches.

read somewhere that Nagpur would be a bowler's graveyard... flat and devoid of any grass... a belter

But Shastri was mentioning that it is a new pitch and could behave differently from day 4 onwards...

yet again...toss could be a deciding factor

these new pitches are irritating .. wasnt the india-pak test at bangalore last year also a new pitch, where even Irfan got a century?
