I haven't seen Dlouhy play enough times to form an opinion either way but unorthodox at the net doesn't even begin to describe the guy. As a doubles specialist myself, I cringe at some of his shots. Somehow he manages to touch his racquet to a lot of balls (although on days like today, most of them were landing out). If Leander is an artist at the net, Dlouhy is perhaps a post-modern artist. I gather that Dlouhy's serve is his strength but he needs to be a lot more consistent if he wants to win slams. His serves were crumbling under pressure. He needs to learn variety from Paes.

Dlouhy was pathetic. Paes waged a lone battle. He was spectacular!!!!!
