Well, I never make the case that human nature and greed in the US is different from elsewhere and the Americans stand on some ethically higher plane, people wise.

I also suppose you will dismiss the fact that some honest athletes did not dope themselves. And you will ignore my point that this scandal was brought to light, publicized, and prosecuted by the US.

You can continue to be amused by my distinction between the controlled system in the Soviet Union and East Germany and the US system. Weirdly, just last night, I had dinner with a person who is an ex-Soviet rower from Lithuania, back in the 80s when Lithuania was part of the USSR. He has told me how they juiced him up and how he used excuses and intentional low performance to quit, and emigrated to the US. Last Sunday, I walked into a group of Georgian protesters in downtown, and one of them requested me to sign a petition to request the UN to protect the Georgian national parks from intentional arson propagated by the Russian soldiers. She handed me leaflets of how the Russian soldiers even today are far more violent and evil than even the worst the US offers - Abu Ghraib, My Lai and all, but you will dismiss all this as propaganda.

Continue to drive your hate-driven bandwagon towards anything ''merkin". This DG is hosted in America and utilizes a system first developed and funded by the DARPA as you may know (and the brains behind it weren't first or even second generation immigrants). But continue to see only one side.

Have you met SIMI or Huriyat activists and heard their opinion of India? Or Waziristanis/ Balochis and their opinion of Pakistan? 

The modern number system and concept of zero is supposed to have been developed in india... without either, there would be no computers, no technology, no IT jobs etc etc... so can we say that we should turn a blind eye to all indian wrong doings...

we have been world champs at it for the last century now

if you can have the silly dressage event in horse riding and baseball which is among the world's great stupid sports ( i mean here is a guy using a stick which in india we use to beat clothes at the dhobi talao) then you can have CARROM surely

AND WHY THE HELL IS TENT PEGGIN NOT PART OF HORSE EVENTS? it is  great spectator sport, such a rush to see the horse running hard and then at the last moment the rider bends down and lances the peg, stuff of war ohhh
